Our Team Geoff Hamilton BCom, CA Geoff’s financial and business management experience includes business development and restructuring, joint venture facilitation, negotiation and mediation, acquisitions, insolvency management, auditing and financial management with companies in New Zealand, London and Johannesburg. He has also spent some time outside accounting as a financial controller in a commercial environment. Geoff's background provides a breadth of skills and practical knowledge that he draws upon constantly, contributing to the exceptional results he delivers to his clients. Away from work, you’re likely to see Geoff running, dining out or developing his golfing skills. Manisha Kesha BCom, CA Manisha thrives on challenge and enjoys spending time with clients, analysing their businesses and spotting opportunities to develop and expand them. In addition to assisting clients with their financial and statutory obligations and her business development work, Manisha is also focused on continually improving and developing the SME team's superior service delivery. Manisha has been with SME since its inception. With over 15 years experience in financial and company accounting, audit and corporate restructuring and recovery, she adds extensive experience and value to her clients’ businesses. Outside work, Manisha enjoys food and wine, reading, travelling, movies and keeping fit.
Sarah Fellingham ACA Sarah has been with SME Financial since 2004. She has a background in finance from her time working in the UK and after relocating to New Zealand in 2003 has pursued a career in accounting. Whilst working for SME Financial she has completed and gained her accounting qualification. She has a wide range of experience in providing accounting and taxation services to clients especially in the compilation of financial statements and management reporting. In addition to assisting clients with their every day accounting needs she also manages the business services team and oversees the training of new staff. Outside work Sarah she likes to spend her spare time working out at her local gym, walking her dogs, music and art, reading and watching films. Satish Babu BCom, Grad Dip Com. Satish joined SME in April 2006 after completing a Bachelor of Commerce in Information Systems and a Graduate Diploma in Accounting at the University of Auckland, and aims to become a qualified Chartered Accountant in the next few years. Outside of work, Satish enjoys playing and watching all kinds of sports. Esthea Smal BBus, Grad Dip Bus. Esthea joined SME in November 2007 to complete her final practical experience to graduate with a Bachelor of Business in Accounting and Graduate Diploma in Business from the Auckland University of Technology and aims to become a qualified Chartered Accountant in the next few years. Outside work Esthea loves socialising with friends and going to the gym. Yvette Earnshaw Yvette is a business accountant and senior client manager offering over six years financial and company accounting experience. Always living for a challenge she enjoys investigating and tackling all daunting and unknown areas, bringing additional skills and diversity to the SME team. In her spare time Yvette is currently working towards achieving a bachelor in business at Unitec and a teacher’s qualification in IDTA ballet. Anna Jezyk Anna joined SME in 2010 as a Receptionist and Administration Support. Anna holds a Masters degree in cultural science from Viadrina University (Germany) and has also obtained a certificate in commerce from Lincoln University. Anna has travelled extensively, having lived in Germany for 10 years (originally from Poland) and has travelled throughout Europe and Asia. Outside work, Anna enjoys travelling, reading, watching movies and learning new languages. Victor Pliev Victor joined SME in March 2009 after completing a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Commercial Law at the University of Auckland. After completing his Bachelor Degree he received a Senior 2008 Commercial Law Award. Victor is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants and completed the Foundations Programme 2010 (formerly known as PCE1) and aims to become a qualified Chartered Accountant in the next few years. Outside work Victor enjoys going to the gym, barbeques on his front yard and a friendly game of Xbox with his mates Vinay Iswar Indunil Bandara Indy has a Bachelor of Management studies degree with an accounting and marketing major from Waikato University. She enjoys playing cricket and netball and also teaches dance and music in her free time.
